The woven threads of remembering and becoming

The first thread:

The first woven thread of remembering and becoming is a thread that is weaved from heart co-herance and deep introspective listening. A thread that calls us to listen and to take embodied action. For the woven threads do not weave if there is no beginning, no action, no momentum.

Hello to all that have arrived here in the presence of listening and following these words. For a while now I have been feeling called to share more, to be expansive and open with my journey of deep listening, remembering & becoming. In saying that, I have not known where to begin, what to share, how to weave the first thread. Through deeper enquiry, I realised that sometimes the greatest intelligence comes from listening and simply beginning to walk the path. To honour the call, to listen and lead from the heart.

We live in a world today where everything is pieced together in wholeness and perceived perfection. So it seems scary to share and be seen in my human-ness, still very much piecing the imperfect parts together. So this concept of perfectionism and the fear of being seen in raw truth has been a frozen template of procrastination and endless cycles of “I’ll be ready when…”. Does any of this sound familiar to you? What if we were to begin to thaw these frozen templates and re-weave the narrative? To begin to show up in the messy, imperfect expression of what it means to be authentically and perfectly human? To weave the threads of remembering & becoming as we journey through remembering ourselves?

I believe that the blanket of this human experience is weaved and remembered through embodied action. Sometimes the places where we don’t know what path to take is exactly where we need to be. To take the first step and trust that the path will unfold itself through walking, listening, remembering and becoming.

To know that by beginning to weave the first thread, that the shape of our human creation will reveal itself when it is ready; and that the path will pave itself by beginning to walk upon it.

Welcome to the woven threads of remembering and becoming…

A series of introspective and embodied wonderings, inquiries and listenings.

Each New moon, in the spaciousness of the dark sky, I will share the threads that have been weaving in my human experience and hope to connect and touch the hearts of others in doing so.

In deepest reverence and gratitude to the lineage of teachers, to the ancient roots of this practice, to the land and earth in which we practice upon, to the traditional owners of the land (the Kabi Kabi) who's prayers will forever be carried in the waters, winds and stones, to the intrinsic wisdom of the body and the heart, and to the magic of the breath.

Love and blessings
